Visitors 4 - Attracted by their shrilling and unbounded excitement I discovered my Callistemon tree full of rainbow lorikeets. 

They swang and balanced like a acrobats feasting on the bright red blooms. A vibrant chaotic circus of sound and comedy.

These beautiful vibrant birds are widespread along the coastal regions of northern and eastern Australia. The spiked brusholime blooms of the Callistemon hold high amounts of sweet nectar providing high energy fuel lorikeets need.

The lorikeet  has a unique  bristle–like tongue used to lap up the nectar and pollen from deep inside native flowers and do not naturally eat standard bird seed.
