My Future Our Future – A big responsibility for survival of his species on his tiny shoulders.

Bathed in the morning’s warm dappled sunlight the infant orangutan gazes intently at the food shared by his mother. Cautiously he trials the taste.  Orangutun mothers spend up to eight years teaching their young essential skills.

This quite intimate scene reflects a much larger urgent narrative.  The fleeting moment of sunlight serves as a reminder of what we stand to lose. The fragility of the moment highlights the need for action - habitat loss and extinction and the trajectory of our own future.
